Actuator: 3-6V DC motor via blind tilt system, motor uses HG7881 motor controller driven by microcontroller. Switches: four push buttons in two rooms control blinds via microcontroller placed in resistor network. ESP8266 mini microcontroller with WiFi support controls actuator (motor M1/M2 via D1,D2,D5,D6 ports) and switches (via external browser webpage). Software written with Arduino IDE, routine constantly checks switch status and drives motor maximum 500mS open/close. Automation possible with sensors: light, temperature, position, time switch. Combined control: blinds close automatically at sunset for energy savings. Image recognition option: camera detects blind position via BeautifulSoup algorithm for intelligent decisions.

Project Details

Type: Electronics & Microcontroller Project

Category: Electronics

Download Project PDF

Download Full Project PDF

Slimme luxaflex met deze DIY Domotica Oplossing

DIY home automation solution for electrically operating blinds with open-close push button control.
