The prototype consists of a sensor and microcontroller that activates with power supply (220V adapter or battery). A green LED indicates the system is online via WiFi. When the trap is opened, you place the sensor in front of the opening and press a button to activate the system &#8211; the green LED turns off. Upon detection of a closed lid (red LED on sensor), the software takes a photo, sends email\/Twitter message, and shuts down after ten seconds.
